Dates

The hackathon will start on Friday, the 12th of January 2024, at 6:00 pm EST and end on the following Saturday, the 13th of January 2024, at around 6:00 pm EST. The submission period, however, will end at 5:00 pm EST on the 13th of January. 

Eligibility

Although this hackathon targets high school students, high school and university students will be eligible to join. 

Prizes

Prizes will be determined as the date of the hackathon nears.  

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

For the main submission, the projects will be judged based on the functionality, pitch, and goal the project hopes to accomplish. For individual theme submissions, the project will be judged based on how well the project fits the given theme.

Rules

  • Please treat all hackers, mentors, and judges respectfully.

  • You can create any project (game, website, app, etc).

  • Do not use code written before 6 pm. You are free to brainstorm, however.

  • Do not plagiarize!

  • Only one person from each team makes submissions.

  • A maximum of 4 hackers can be on a team.

  • Live pitching is mandatory to be eligible for prizes.
